We’re excited to host a Guest Technical Specialist the weekend of March 21–22 for a special training opportunity.
Our guest specialist will be offering program critiques and private lessons, providing valuable feedback from an official’s perspective. This is a great chance for skaters and coaches to gain deeper insight into element levels, GOE potential, program construction, and how performances are evaluated under the judging system. Whether preparing for upcoming competitions or refining programs for the season ahead, this type of feedback can be a game-changer.
In addition, we will be holding a coaches-only informational class, where our guest specialist will break down technical trends, common scoring mistakes, and what officials are really looking for this season. Coaches will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity to better support their skaters.
The figure skating club will be purchasing 1/2 hour of private ice on which to skate the programs for critique on Saturday, March 21st at 7:45AM. The guest USFS specialist will observe your programs. A debrief session will occur after the skating session during which you will receive feedback.
Cost for the critique session will be $65.00
Spots will be limited to ensure each skater and coach receives quality time and detailed input.
