American Riviera Figure Skating Club is a member club of United States Figure Skating (USFS).
USFS is the national governing body of the United States Olympic Commitee for the sport of figure skating. USFS governs all rules and procedures regarding competitive figure skating.Benefits of an American Riviera Figure Skating Club (IPFSC) Membership include:

American Riviera Figure Skating Club memberships run from July 1 until June 30 of the following year. The ARFSC membership period coincides with the membership period of USFS. All memberships expire on June 30 irregardless of when a member joins.

Professional Members
American Riviera Figure Skating Club has several members who are professional figure skating coaches. These coaches are fully certified and credentialed by US Figure Skating. They can accompany skaters to US figure skating test sessions and competitions. Member of the Month - August 2026
Ildiko Banffy Palmer
AGE: 49
Ildi started skating at 11 years old when her parents surprised her with a trip to the skating rink. In a short time she started going through the Learn to Skate classes and competing in the “Future Stars” competitions at the rink. She had a great run but by the time she was seventeen and graduating high school, she still was nowhere close to competing in the Olympics! Getting serious with work, school and family, she hung up her skates for twenty six years! Now she's back since 2021 and enjoying every free moment she can get a chance to be on the ice. Her favorite element is a layback because that's her “relax time”.
Ildi’s latest skating goals are to pass Adult Gold Skating Skills, get all her biggest jumps back and to skate well at Adult Nationals. She's living the childhood dream her parents randomly handed to her one Saturday afternoon forty years ago and she plans to never stop skating again!
